  • Andy warhol made art out of popular cultures such as existing products in his days.
  • Andy warhol did most of his work on repeating the odjects which he done by relief printing them and he would often use bright colours, and multi tone colours for some of his repeated images.  Which he would do in a different colour.

What 1950s and 1960s Pop art all was

Pop art in the the nineteen fifities and sixties was mostly work done of popstar's, drinks, food, cars, current day trends.  Which still generates on what would get done for pop art today.  And by looking at Andy Warhols Work and Eduardo Paolozzi work shows me that retro pop art was mostly art based on old school products and trends.  And the pop art was mostly done in bright colour which both Andy Warhol and Eduardo Paolozzi did there work in bright colour.

towards the end of the 20th centuary the digital age

Below nineteen 70s illustration
  • Below is some of the nineteen seventies childrens book illustration.  This illustration shows how passed things these techniques of nineteen seventies illustrators.
  • Back in these days it shows how the old school techniques of illustrators was mostly using techniques such as block printing or watercolour painting, or colouring pencils or block printing

Present day illustration
  • Here are some recently published and illustrarted books showing mostly modern techniques in the digital world
  • Unlike the 1970s illustration above these would have been done differently by, taken in digital to photoshop to get coloured in
  • But after hand rended aswel as digital the old school techniques still would get used like one of these images below looks as tho it could have been done whilst doing life drawing and then used digital to present the image at better quaility using a program such as photoshop
  • And the images such as the story board ones which are made more common now they can be gattered to geather digital more than.  The old techniques were would have been a big mess on with hand techniques
  • Graphic Novels or cartoon in books can now be set up using photoshop this presents each image as layout for a storyboard
  • And some images would be drawing in photoshop rather than by hand
